Union calls on Delta to equalize pay and standards for all Delta/Delta Connection Flight Attendants.

ATLANTA (May 22, 2016) – Flight Attendants from the U.S. aviation industry will picket tomorrow in Atlanta, Georgia for equality. Delta Connection flight attendants are not equally recognized for their contribution as frontline employees of Delta’s network. In Delta’s hometown, the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) will protest outside of the World of Coca-Cola, as Coke’s CFO Kathy Waller sits on Delta’s board.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 18, 2016) – GoJet Flight Attendants today joined the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA). In a union representation election that concluded today, the National Mediation Board (NMB) announced that 83 percent of the voters elected AFA as their collective bargaining representative.

Legislation included in the Senate FAA Reauthorization Bill Would Require Training for Airline Workers

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 16, 2016)  – The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), and Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) called on Congress to move forward on the FAA Reauthorization bill which includes a provision to train airline workers to combat human trafficking on commercial airlines.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 13, 2016) – Air Transport International (ATI) Flight Attendants voted to join the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) by a two-third margin. In a union representation election that concluded today, the National Mediation Board (NMB) announced that out of 36 votes cast, 24 elected AFA as their collective bargaining representative.

Washington, D.C. (May 12, 2016) – Flight Attendants and hundreds of aviation workers rallied in front of the White House, calling on the Obama administration to enforce trade agreements and deny Norwegian Air International's (NAI) foreign air carrier permit. Obama Administration Must Enforce U.S.–EU Air Transport Agreement, Defend Fair Competition

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 10, 2016) —Members of organizations representing more than 200,000 aviation workers will converge in front of the White House to call on the Obama administration to enforce U.S. trade agreements by denying Norwegian Air International’s (NAI) application to serve the United States with a business plan that ignores U.S. trade policy, erodes fair competition, and threatens U.S. jobs.

Washington, D.C. (May 5, 2016) – Spirit Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO (AFA), today voted to accept a new contract with significant improvements for the more than 2,200 Flight Attendants. The agreement was reached with the assistance of the National Mediation Board.
