Take Action for Our Careers: Call Your Senators and Ask Them to Sign On to a Letter Affirming Our Right to Strike and Settle Contract Disputes

May 24, 2024—Thanks to your advocacy, 178 Representatives signed on to a congressional letter to the National Mediation Board (NMB) that urged the agency to use all available tools to help us secure our contracts quickly, including a release to a 30-day cooling-off-period and strike deadline.

Hundreds of Flight Attendants Rally for Fair Contracts

May 24, 2024—Hundreds of Flight Attendants and allies rallied in Downtown Atlanta during the 51st Board of Directors Convention, demanding fair pay, strong benefits, and fair contracts across the industry with red hot fights at Air Wisconsin, Alaska, Frontier, Omni and United. 51st AFA Board of Directors Convention Wrapped!

May 24, 2024—This week, the AFA Board of Directors met for our union’s 51st Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. AFA Local Executive Council (LEC) Presidents from each of our 20 AFA-represented airlines, Master Executive Council (MEC) Officers, International Officers, members, and guests came together for an in-person meeting.

May 17, 2024—Delta CEO Ed Bastian received a $20 million bonus last year for all his “hard work” through COVID. This bonus amount would nearly cover the cost of equal pay for ALL Endeavor Flight Attendants. Talk about corporate greed! Paying Endeavor Flight Attendants at the same rate as mainline would cost just 0.47% of Delta’s 2023 profits. The airline can afford to do this for the employees of their “wholly-owned” regional today!

25 Senators Sign Letter Urging Delta Management to Follow the Law and Stay Neutral in Union Organizing 

May 17, 2024—Twenty-five Senators signed a letter urging Delta Air Lines management to remain neutral in union organizing among approximately 55,000 workers at the most profitable U.S. airline. The effort was led by Sen. Laphonza Bulter (D-Calif.).

178 Members of Congress Sign Right to Strike Letter

May 17, 2024—Thanks to your action, 178 Members of Congress signed on to a congressional letter to the National Mediation Board urging the agency to use all provisions under the Railway Labor Act to resolve contract negotiations. This is a massive show of congressional support for our careers and our right to strike!
