Thousands of Flight Attendants Stand Up for Strong Contracts During Worldwide Day of Action

June 14, 2024—Yesterday, thousands of Flight Attendants and our allies picketed for contracts that finally pay us what we’ve earned. With pickets at more than 30 airports, we showed airline management and the flying public that no matter our uniforms, we’re united in the fight to raise the standards for our careers.

THIS WEEK: Solidarity Summer Worldwide Flight Attendant Day of Action

June 10, 2024—Alaska's at the table this week. United’s at the table this week. ATI’s at the table this week. American’s at the table this week. Flight Attendants from Air Wisconsin, Frontier, Omni, PSA, and other airlines are also in hot contract negotiations with dates at the table in the coming weeks. Endeavor Flight Attendants are calling attention to the need to end the two-tier system in aviation that keeps regional Flight Attendants drastically underpaid.

June is Pride Month!

May 31, 2024—June is Pride Month! AFA supports all LGBTQ+ Flight Attendants and workers as we fight for protections on the job and in our communities. AFA’s mission is to unite all Flight Attendants and promote equality and employment for all, regardless of race, color, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. This has been codified in our Constitution since 1976.

AFA Frontier Flight Attendants File for Federal Mediation

May 31, 2024—This week, AFA Frontier Flight Attendants filed for federal mediation with the National Mediation Board to resolve the dispute created by the company’s business model change and the immediate and drastic impact on Flight Attendants.
