The Cabin Air Safety Act of 2019 aims to protect airline passengers and crew from the harmful effects of toxic cabin air.

“Our workspace is the public’s travel space and in that space today, crews and passengers are breathing toxins and it has to stop,” said AFA International President Sara Nelson.

9/11 Memorial & Museum Recognizes Flight Crewmembers During 2019 National Aviation Week

August 5, 2019 — The 9/11 Memorial & Museum will mark National Aviation Week (August 19-25, 2019) by providing free Museum access to crewmembers both active and retired. Throughout the week, the Museum will feature flight crew-themed auditorium programming to highlight this chapter in aviation history and share these stories with Museum visitors.

The full convention gavels in Monday morning. Pre-Convention meetings start today, Friday, in Las Vegas.
