Washington, DC – At a recent meeting of the International Transport Workers Federation (ITF), the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), the world’s largest Flight Attendant union, introduced a resolution calling for a full investigation of Norwegian Air International’s (NAI) labor standards and business practices. The initiative, which was adopted by the ITF, called upon the U.S. Department of Transportation, among others, to seek additional information about NAI’s labor plans in order to protect airline labor from the adverse consequences of circumventing international labor laws.

Washington, DC – Piedmont Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), today voted in favor of a new contract that includes pay increases and work rule improvements for the nearly 200 regional Flight Attendants. The agreement was reached with the assistance of the National Mediation Board (NMB).

It serves as companion legislation to Senate bill S. 1008. After Intense Pressure from Piedmont Flight Attendants, Agreement Reached Through Mediation

Washington, DC – Piedmont Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), today announced a tentative agreement with management that includes economic improvements, as well as improved work rules and other benefits for the regional Flight Attendants. The agreement was reached with the assistance of the National Mediation Board (NMB).

Washington, DC – US Airways Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), today voted to ratify an Agreement on Bargaining and Representation between AFA and the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) along with a Negotiations Protocol Agreement with American Airlines management. The agreement establishes a joint negotiations protocol for a single contract at the New American Airlines with the assurance of improvements in one year for all 24,000 Flight Attendants.
