On Tuesday, Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said Americans should begin preparing for a growing number of cases in the United States, adding that she had spoken to her own family members about “significant disruption” to their routines.

AFA Remembers Flight Attendant Ruth Jordan

February 25, 2020 — We mourn the passing of a legend in our ranks - Ruth Jordan, a 50 plus year Flight Attendant and Purser, who transcended 4 airline mergers beginning in 1957 with then Bonanza Airlines, continuing with Hughes Airwest, Republic Airlines, Northwest Airlines and concluding with Delta Air Lines in 2014. We lost Ruth last Sunday January 19th, after a courageous battle with cancer.
