Endeavor AFA Pickets Delta HQ

October 4, 2024 –Endeavor Flight Attendants picketed outside Delta Air Lines HQ yesterday to demand an end to the Delta Disparity Difference. Endeavor Flight Attendants fly the same passengers and routes as Delta flights, but are paid a fraction as much. Their jobs are critical to Delta’s success but their wages and benefits do not reflect that.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 1, 2024 – According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, in 2024, an estimated 310,720 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in the U.S., as well as 56,500 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer. There are currently over 4 million breast cancer survivors in the United States. A study from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health found that Flight Attendants in the U.S. have a higher prevalence of every cancer they studied, especially breast cancer, melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancer.

September 27, 2024 — Our union siblings at Boeing are on strike. AFA members from Alaska and Horizon walked alongside IAM members on the picket line in Washington and Oregon with President Sara Nelson.

Deadlines Approaching: Check Your Voter Registration Today  

September 27, 2024 — Twenty-one states and D.C. offer same-day voter registration for the Nov. 5 general election. Other states require registration before Election Day, with some deadlines as early as Oct. 6.
