This bankruptcy will be much more difficult than the last one and we must be prepared to act to protect our interests as Flight Attendants.
The court appointed AFA to the unsecured creditor’s committee for the bankruptcy. This is the first result of our representation in this bankruptcy. Having a place on this Committee is very important. As a member of the Committee, we will directly review the business operations of Spirit Airlines, participate in the reorganization plan, and ensure that the interests of Flight Attendants and all unsecured creditors are a priority.
We continue to work with our attorneys to ensure that the future of this company reflects the significant contributions we make everyday. AFA EAP is available 24/7 at 800-424-2406. Stay close to union communications and know we are not alone.
