Kaela Berg: AFA Member Running for Congress
October 3, 2025 - One of our own is running for Congress in Minnesota’s second district! Kaela Berg has been an Endeavor AFA Flight Attendant for 22 years and is currently serving in the Minnesota State House. As a Representative since 2021, she has proven to be one of the leading forces behind many pro-union and working family legislation, including banning captive audience meetings and gaining unemployment benefits for striking workers.
As a Flight Attendant, she’s intimately aware of the unique challenges we face in our career and has fought for us at the state level — making sure that Flight Attendants are covered under Minnesota’s earned sick and safe time law. If elected, Kaela would be the first active Flight Attendant to be elected to Congress.
This is an open-seat race with the incumbent Representative running for the US Senate. Kaela is the only labor candidate in the race and faces a competitive primary and general election because this Congressional District is a swing district.
